The Full Story
Saunders County is full of family friendly activities, schools, resources, and people. Saunders County Community Response is a program Michelle Libal and Amber Pelan, in partnership with the Nebraska Children and Families Foundation, strived to implement in Saunders County. In 2021, that goal became a reality. A donor from Nebraska Children's graciously donated $50,000 to our county's program. Since that date, hundreds of children and families have been helped.

Who Can We Serve?
"The best view comes after the hardest climb"
* Single or 2-parent families WITH
children 18 our younger in their homes
* Parents/caregivers do not have to be
legal guardian to the children to qualify for services
*Must comply with services and coaching
*Proof of citizenship NOT required
*Pregnant/parenting young adults
*Young adults WITHOUT children
(ages 19 to 25)
*Residents of Saunders County
